Name/Title/Company: Josh Narrai Business Development Officer / Tri City National Bank

Briefly tell us what you do, and length of time in the CRE industryI have been in CRE for 3-years and as a Commercial Lender, I provide financing solutions to businesses and individuals looking to grow and invest in Southeastern WI.

Number of Years in NAIOP Wisconsin?: 5-years with counting student memberships in College.

What project or professional or personal accomplishment are you most proud of?: Through the All Star Program, I have mentored several Marquette students who were interested in CRE and are now starting their respective careers. I find a lot of pride in seeing these students continue on into CRE and look forward to working with them as they grow in their careers.

Where did you grow up, go to high school or college?: I grew up in Franklin WI and went to Franklin High School before attending the University of Wisconsin La Crosse to study Finance and Economics. I come from a loud Italian family and have a twin brother.

Who introduced you to NAIOP Wisconsin and how has the DL All Star program contributed to your success in the industry as a young professional?: I was introduced to NAIOP by Brandon Schulta when I was an intern at First American during college. Brandon had brought me to events and introduced me to several industry leaders which I credit to directing me to CRE from when I was in college. Through the DL All Star Program, I have been able to establish a strong network of peers and mentors that I can count on when working on the projects helping shape Southeastern WI. A special shoutout to the mentors I have had since starting the program which include Derek Taylor, Jason Luther, and Dan Jeserig.

What advice would you give today, to you five years ago?Don't be afraid to ask for advice or guidance. Above all, this program has provided access to industry leaders who want to see young professionals succeed and I believe it is important to stay curious and ask questions as you can't navigate this industry alone.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?: I aim to see myself as a mentor and leader in the industry.

What are you currently listening to on the radio or reading for fun? Anything country, Morgan Wallen right now.

Favorite brunch spot?: Story Hill BKC.

Favorite vacation spot/bucket list?: Savannah.
