Briefly tell us what you do, and length of time in the CRE industry: COO of Three Leaf Partners LLC; Real Estate and Finance Attorney by trade; Client Liaison to Husch Blackwell.
How do you hope to contribute to the NAIOP Wisconsin Board and what do you hope to get in return?: During my time with the NAIOP Board, I've focused mostly on growth of membership and marquee events. My hope is to grow an active membership base to better support our efforts in Madison and Washington D.C., and to help members do business with fellow members.
Which project or professional accomplishment are you most proud of?: For a project, prior to moving to Wisconsin, I represented the Dallas Cowboys on the naming rights deal for AT&T Stadium. As an avid Cowboys fan, that deal will always hold a special place for me! For professional, my involvement with Three Leaf Partners and helping build the team has been a great accomplishment over the last year.
How else are you involved or how would you like to be more involved in NAIOP Wisconsin?: I am the current President-Elect. I will be President in 2024. I also involve myself at the annual NAIOP Chapter Leadership and Legislative Retreat and hope to continue my involvement on a national level after my Executive Committee tenure ends in the next few years.
Tell us about your family: I have been married to Laura for 10+ years, and we have two children, Ford (8) and Tessa (7). We live in Lake Country and enjoy time on the lake in summer, and BBQ events and contests all year!
What is your favorite restaurant?: Bavette. I appreciate the care taken by Karen and team for the whole animal butchery, and the food and atmosphere is the best.
What kind of music are you listening to and first and last concert you attended?: Usually 80s metal/rock. Last show was Bruce Springsteen on March 7.
Favorite foods at Summerfest and State Fair?: Reuben Rolls (Irish Fest).
What are your hobbies?: BBQ, Live Music and Sports, Lake Life.
Favorite county or state park?: Peninsula State Park.
What is your favorite vacation destination?: Door County in August; Texas in late fall.
How do you find a moment of peace to calm or center yourself?: Early mornings to light a fire for BBQ.
What is one item you can not live without?: Thermapen by Thermoworks (Instant Read Meat Thermometer).
