Briefly tell us what you do and how long you have been in the Commercial Real Estate industry: 

Nuveen Green Capital is both the oldest and the largest C-PACE (Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy) provider in the nation. I have been in the Commercial Real Estate industry for over 25 years.

Which project or professional accomplishment are you most proud of? Currently in the process of closing on the largest C-PACE project in the nation located in Chicago.

Tell us about your family: My husband and I have 4 children (3 of them married), all scattered across the nation.  My husband and I, after relocating to the Sycamore, Illinois area from the east coast, bought a small “hobby farm” on five acres. We have chickens, ducks, bees, alpacas, goats, kune kune pigs, 2 donkeys and a horse, as well as a large garden.

What is your favorite restaurant? Why? The Tap Room in Chesapeake City, Maryland. My husband and I recently relocated to the mid-west from the Philadelphia area. When we were on the east coast, it became a yearly tradition with our best friends there to make a trip to The Tap Room for a crab feast every summer. 

What’s your favorite vacation destination? Italy. My husband is Italian so we try to get back often.

Favorite series you binge-watched? The Marvelous Mrs. Maizel.

What are your hobbies? I love to can from my garden, and love to cook.

What is the best Halloween costume you ever wore? I was dressed as a bartender complete with an entire bar around me and my husband was the bar server (fully dressed as a woman).

How do you find a moment of peace to calm or center yourself? 

Working in my large garden.
