Name/Title/Company: Alex Rodriguez/Real Estate Development Director/Community First

Briefly tell us what you do and how long you have been in the Commercial Real Estate industry: I recently ventured into CRE. Being a graduate of the ACRE program in 2021, I was fortunate enough to build a connection with Community First, a non-profit developer. I am continuously honing my skills and actively seeking new opportunities to expand our program's reach, such as identifying potential development sites and establishing key connections. 

How are you involved or would like to be more involved in NAIOP Wisconsin?: I recently joined NAIOP Wisconsin. I would like to become more involved by participating in local events, joining committees, and volunteering to expand my network.  

Tell us about your family: I come from a close-knit family of five. I have an older brother and a younger sister who are both very playful. My parents are very humble and modest people.  

What is your favorite restaurant and why?: Guanajuatos. It is authentic food that reminds me of my hometown in Mexico.  

What's the last book you read?: The Compound Effect by Darren Hardy. 

Favorite county or state park?: South Shore Park!

What are your hobbies?: Playing soccer, reading, and being in nature. 

How do you find a moment of peace to calm or center yourself?: Taking a walk is my favorite way.
