Name/Title/Company: Brett Benka / Project Specialist / EUA

Briefly tell us what you do, and length of time in the CRE industry: I've been in the Architecture industry for 8 years and I do a little bit of everything.  I'm part of the design process on many projects, and I produce CDs and renderings. 

Which project or professional accomplishment are you most proud of?: I assisted in the design of TruStage's (Formerly CUNA Mutual) Campus Hub building, which I think turned out really well. 

How are you involved or would like to be more involved in NAIOP Wisconsin?: I'm just looking to be connected to other like minded folks who have a passion for improving our built environment! 

Tell us about your family: I live on Milwaukee's East Side with my wife, our one-year-old son, and French Bulldog. 

What music are you listening to?: I'm currently listening to a lot of Lord Huron.  I saw them at Summerfest this past year! 

Favorite series you have binge-watched?: House of the Dragon.

What's your favorite restaurant and why?: Santino's Little Italy in Bay View - It has phenomenal food and old school Italian vibes. 

Cats or dogs? Do you have pets?: Dogs. I like cats too, but they're usually not as interested in my shenanigans as dogs are. 

What's one item you cannot live without?: My special pillow.  Since turning 30, my neck decided it would hurt unless I sleep with a special pillow.
