Briefly tell us what you do, and length of time in the CRE industry: I lead a team of commercial lenders in Madison for Landmark. I have been involved in CRE financing for 40 years across the US with 30 years dedicated to the Wisconsin market. 

What project or professional accomplishment are you most proud of?: I have survived 4 bank mergers, multiple corp. reorganizations, and several industry cycles with my reputation and integrity intact!

How would you like to be more involved in NAIOP Wisconsin?: I look forward to serving on the Madison Committee with NAIOP Wisconsin. 

Tell us about your family: Married to Dr. La Vonne Cornell-Swanson, Provost at UW-Stevens Point, with 3 adult children, no grandchildren (yet!). Can't wait to be a grandad.

What is your favorite quote?: “It always seems impossible until it is done.” Nelson Mandela. 

What is your favorite restaurant?: Izumis - unfortunately its closed now.  Best Sushi I have ever eaten.

What's your favorite vacation destination?: Ireland - the people are amazing. 

How do you find a moment of peace to calm or center yourself?: I am most centered when I have a flyrod in my hand and a Wisconsin trout stream in sight.
