New Member Spotlight- Olivia DeNoyer, Baker Tilly

Name/Title/Company: Olivia DeNoyer / Senior Analyst / Baker Tilly

Briefly tell us what you do, and length of time in the CRE industryI've worked in the CRE industry since 2018. When I first started out, I did tax compliance for real estate clients. Last year I started a hybrid position with Baker Tilly which involves both tax compliance and financial modeling for primarily LIHTC deals. I am working on getting exposure to modeling HTC deals as well.

Which project or professional accomplishment are you most proud of?: Balancing two different roles in my hybrid position. It's not always easy to do tax compliance and financial modeling - especially during tax deadlines.

How are you involved or would like to be more involved in NAIOP Wisconsin?: I would like to be involved in more networking events in the future.

Tell us about your family: I am from Sun Prairie, WI where I grew up with 3 siblings (2 brothers and 1 sister), I'm the oldest. I am very close with all of my siblings and standing in both of my little brothers weddings this year.

What is your favorite restaurant and why?: Currently my favorite Milwaukee restaurant is C-Viche which has 2 locations, Bayview and Shorewood. Their food and drinks are consistently good, and I've never had a bad experience. Other favorites are Harbor House, Carnivor, and Buckley's.

What music are you listening to, and first and last concert you attended?: I listen to all music but primarily country. First concert that I ever attended was Hilary Duff and the last concert I attended was Morgan Wallen.

Cats or dogs?: Dogs!! I have a 9 year-old red lab named Jase who still has the energy of 2 year-old lab.

Favorite series you have binge-watched?Yellowstone was the best series that I have recently watched.

What's something about you most people don't know?I am scuba certified and have gone on 4 different scuba excursions in Turks and Caicos, Aruba, Cozumel, and Key West.

How do you find a moment of peace to calm or center yourself?: Taking a walk on the river or lake in Milwaukee is the best place for me to do this.
