Briefly tell us what you do and how long you have been in the Commercial Real Estate industry: Making buildings and occupants safer and more efficient using technology systems is the main focus at Fearing's. From cloud based surveillance and access to conference room and interior signage/message systems we assist in finding customized solutions for commercial buildings and institutions. Fearing's has been serving the Madison and now Milwaukee greater areas for over 25 years. 

What project or professional accomplishment are you most proud of?: Zendesk in downtown Madison was a project we really came up with some excellent solutions for collaboration and efficiencies. Liking our workmanship and solutions we were sent to Singapore to commission a large video wall at their corporate headquarters. 

How are you involved or would like to be more involved in NAIOP Wisconsin?: Membership and/or education of technology evolution for the future high tech building would be of interest for involvement. 

Tell us about your family: I am married to my wife, Gail, and have five grown children. Our residence is in Cross Plains, WI. The kids live are spread out and live in Phoenix, Orlando, Knoxville, TN, Iowa City and Des Moines. We enjoy time with our eight grandchildren in our family travels. No dogs, just a neighborhood cat that visits and thinks he is Garfield.  

What is your favorite restaurant and why?: Delaney's Steak House in Madison is my favorite restaurant as has excellent steaks and full of fond memories created there. 

Who is your favorite author and/or what is your favorite quote?: Apostle Paul would be one of my most treasured author's. His quote of "Walk by faith, not by sight" would be topping my list. 

What is the funniest thing that has happened to you recently?: Playing Santa at Chick-fil-A, one fairly young boy asked for a Corvette. I said what color of toy car and he said... No-no, a real one a 2023 in orange. 

What's your favorite vacation destination?: Favorite vacation in the winter would be Phoenix. Favorite summer vacation would be the Minocqua lakes region in Northern WI. 

What are your hobbies?: Golf in the summer and woodworking in the winter months.

What's something about you most people don't know?: I really love to play ping-pong.
