Briefly tell us what you do, and length of time in the CRE industry: I am currently a first-generation sophomore at Marquette University double majoring in Commerical Real Estate and Finance. I want to learn as much about the industry as I can and sharpen my skills along the way.
What project or professional accomplishment are you most proud of?: I am currently working on obtaining my first rental property which has been a great journey for me as I'm doing everything on my own to research, securing financing and negotiating with sellers to close a deal. As I'm working towards this goal, I'm learning and discovering new things everyday which makes the journey rewarding.
How would you like to be more involved in NAIOP Wisconsin?: I would like to be more involved in NAIOP by going to more events, learning more about what NAIOP offers and get to know the members of NAIOP.
Tell us about your family: My family is from a small town in Jalisco, Mexico then moved to Door County, Wisconsin where we own a restaurant named, The Summer Kitchen. We have been running it for the past 15 years which I have worked at for a great part of my life. My family raised me to have a great work ethic and to follow my dreams which I believe are in Real Estate.

What music are you listening to?: The music I love to listen is to Regional Mexican music, I grew up listen to it and was one of the first concert I attended as a kid.
What's your favorite vacation destination?: Puerto Vallarta, Mexico hands down. The warm weather and the seafood make it my favorite without question, it's a great get away from the freezing winters up in the Midwest.
What's the last book you read?: The last book I read was "Real Estate Riches" by Dolf De Roos, which was a great read for me on how to find properties and how to properly invest. I have learned a lot from it and led me to read more books on real estate.
Favorite state park?: My favorite park is Peninsula State Park, it is a wonderful park that is surrounded by water and has the eagle tower which give a jaw dropping view of the entire park.
What's something about you most people don't know?: Something about me that not many people know is that Spanish is my first language, and I grew up speaking Spanish.
What's one item you cannot live without?: One item I always need is my headphones, it gets me going at any time of the day and keeps me pushing through a tough workout or just hype me up for everyday activities like homework as it makes it more enjoyable.
